EBL/EBL-Idaho receives State of Idaho Permission to Operate Tamarack Canopy Tour in 2010

March 5, 2010

EBL / EBL-Idaho, LLC. received permission from the State of Idaho Land Board today to continue operations of the Tamarack Canopy Tours on state land under lease by Tamarack Resort, LLC. The Department of Lands recognized the operating agreement in place between Tamarack Resort, LLC. and EBL/ EBL-Idaho, LLC.

The Tamarack Resort canopy zipline tour was installed by EBL in 2006 and expanded upon in 2007.  Tamarack Resort, LLC has been in a lengthy bankruptcy proceeding and was operated for a period of time by a court appointed receiver. When CEO Jean-Pierre Boesplug received control of the resort back in the summer of 2009, he agreed to an operational proposal presented by EBL to open the tour to the public and create employment opportunities for Valley County. "This course represented some of the most extreme zip lines of its time in 2006 and 2007 and it was painful to sit back and watch a great course get dusty", "We are very excited to put 15 jobs back on the books and get people working!", says Steve Gustafson, CEO of EBL.

"The next step is to become licensed outfitters and guides in the state of Idaho and then we will be open for business," replies Randy Hall, partner of EBL-Idaho, LLC.
